But the main thing you need to remember is that your honeymoon should be an enjoyable experience, so if you can afford to you should try and bring plenty of money so you can easily splash out once you are at your destination. It also depends on how long you are going for, and this is where planning beforehand becomes essential.

So when going on your honeymoon, try and be organized, book in advance, pack in advance and don’t leave anything until the last minute because you will regret it. When there is pressure it can often lead to stress, which is exactly what you don’t want. Of course, every situation is different, you may be going on your honeymoon weeks after you get married, but its always advisable to prepare way in advance. To some people this may seem quite obvious but you would be surprised as to how disorganized people can be, especially when there is a wedding to plan.
