You have a number of options open to you when visiting Disneyland, Orlando, Florida with regards to accommodation. Many people choose to stay in hotels, motels or villas that are situated close to all the attractions that this popular resort has to offer. Whilst others prefer to actually be right where the action is and staying at one of the Disneyland hotels instead.

Certainly there are plenty of benefits to be gained from staying at the resorts hotels rather than those outside. One of these being that you are within easy reach of all resorts various parks and so being able to get them early in the date or late in the evening is perfect.

Disneyland, Orlando offers the perfect family holiday with so many activities to keep not just the kids but the adults amused as well during their stay. Along with Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood (the 4 main parks), this resort also has Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon the two water parks as well.

If you intend to spend time at Disneyland Animal Kingdom to take in the safari it is best if you do this first thing in the morning, just after the park has opened. This will ensure that you actually get to see more of the animals which have made this part of the park their home. Often by mid morning because of the temperatures getting very high many of the animals will seek shelter from the sun and so actually spotting the animals can be very difficult indeed.

Also you need to be aware that if you intend to visit Disneyland at the height of the summer season then booking well in advance your accommodation is crucial. Otherwise you may find that leaving it to the last minute could result in you not getting what you want.

You should be aware that during the summer Orlando is a place where it does rain and thunderstorms do occur. The problem is that as soon as it rains or a thunderstorm happens all rides are closed down to help protect Disneyland's customers. So you need to be aware that if you stand for hours in a queue to get on one of the many great rides and it starts to rain you will have to return later when it stops raining.

It is not just the rides at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood which will be stopped during inclement weather but also those to be found at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. So you need to make arrangements to do other things or see certain shows when the weather does turn a little for the worse during your stay.

If you want to get the most out of your time when staying at Disneyland, Orlando in relation to getting on the popular rides there are certain things one can do. If you have a credit card provided to you by the Disneyland hotel you are staying at then go to one of the many fast pass machines and get a pass to walk straight through and go on the ride at a later time that day rather than you having to queue.
