With over 90% of women having a problem with cellulite, it should come to as no shock, someone has come up with the best exercises to get rid of those unsightly dimples on your thighs, hips, buttocks, stomach, and even arms.

Like many things you try, you need a mindset to get started and keep yourself going. If you need to write it on a calendar, in your day book, or post it on the refrigerator, please do so to stay on the path to a cellulite free lifestyle.

Below are a few steps to get you started:

• Warm up. Never start an exercise without a warm up. This means stretch every muscle in your body. Any time you don’t warm up, or stretch, you risk getting hurt.
• After you warm up grab a set of light weights (having access to a weight machine, will work as well). As you progress you may want to move up to a heavier weight or increase the resistance on your machine.
• Do the exercises that target your problem areas. If your problem areas are your thighs, start with leg lifts or side leg lifts, you may want to have ankle weights so the resistance is higher, as opposed to no weights, which makes the exercise easier.
• For your hips and buttocks, try squats or lunges. This will help tighten the muscles, preventing fat deposits or water pockets to appear. For better results hold your weights at your sides, this will also help our arm strength and balance.
• For your arms, take your weights and lift them in the air, either to your side or above your head (whichever is more comfortable for you).
• If your problem area is your stomach, try sit-ups or crunches. This will help the abdomen muscles become more defined, and keep that cellulite away.

Each exercise should be done in repetitions, and you should always take a break in between each repetition. Each repetition should be about 10-15 minutes a day, with your break being 2-3 minutes in between. Your body needs to time relax and recooperate, so only work out every other day, instead of everyday. This means, if you start your work out on Monday, take Tuesday as a day to relax, and start again on Wednesday, and so forth. This will help reduce fatigue, and muscle cramps.

The one thing to remember is to not over do it. You may think if you work out everyday you will see better results, more quickly. This is not the case, when you over exert yourself you just run the risk of pulling a muscle, or something worse, tearing a ligament.
Take it easy and be careful when doing your exercises and don’t worry, you will see results.

With the right exercise program, there is no reason why you can’t work your way to be cellulite free. So go ahead, start exercising today and not only will you begin to see results, you will feel like a new person too.
