There are literally hundreds of reasons to stop smoking and once you quit the filthy habit you will almost immediately notice a number of improvements in your mental as well as physical make-up. Hopefully and finally this will convince you of the incredible damage you have been doing to your body.

It's not easy, in fact for some the prospect of quitting smoking is reason enough to light one up. But quitting should be your only consideration at this point. You know how bad it is for you, every smoker does.

Being at less risk of contracting diseases, which could lead to your death, smokers often fall prey to may be a good reason to stop smoking. If this is not a good enough reason then maybe you'll consider that if you don't stop, smoking can lead to a heart attack or cancer.

As you get older the body takes more strain and takes longer to heal. Smokers damage their bodies from the inside out and so they are more susceptible to injury and ill-health later in their life.

One thing smokers definitely know how to do is to find money for cigarettes. I have been privy to many discussions with smokers in the past who complain about never having money but fail to realise how much they spend on their addiction.

Perhaps playing with your kids or being about to walk a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath may be the reason you choose to quit smoking. And in addition to feeling better, you will also start to look better. You will notice a marked improvement in your skin as well as complexion and the chances of getting early wrinkles will also be less likely if you stop smoking.

Why not do something incredible for yourself today; pick a reason, any reason you can think of to stop smoking and make that the most important thing in your life right now. And in case you can't think of one, why not make yourself the reason because you are worth it.

You know you have to stop smoking. The people who care about you most want you to stop. You no doubt constantly battle with stopping; imagine freeing yourself from the clutches of this addiction and living a better, healthier life.
