A cool down period is needed at the end of every weight loss exercise program. Think of this as the opposite of a warm up period. The cool down period gives your body a chance to return to its normal state, and to reduce your heart rate to its normal resting rate.

It is not difficult to design a weight loss exercise program. Many resources are available to provide guidance. A trainer might give you some pointers, and books, software or formal weight loss programs may help you plan and track your exercise and dietary strategy. Losing weight without exercising is difficult, so incorporate exercise into your daily routine.
